A Little About Arianna

When Arianna was four years old, she told her parents, "I want to be a singer and an actress on the stage." And she hasn't stopped since.

Self-taught until age 13 when she was discovered in a local talent show singing "Think of Me" from ALW's "Phantom of the Opera" by renowned vocal coach Bill Purnel, Arianna sang whenever and wherever she could. A year later, she was on stage at Redlands Bowl in "Guys and Dolls."

Other shows quickly followed, including "Into the Woods," "A Little Night Music," and "The Sound of Music." At age sixteen, she landed her first professional role, playing Mabel in "Pirates of Penzance."

While her first love has always been musical theater, Arianna soon began developing a cabaret act, first opening for such luminaries as The Drifters and Josh Groban, then in her own one-woman show, "5 Octaves Off Broadway," which she performed in all over Southern and Central California in intimate venues such as the famed Cinegrill in the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel.

In 2004, Arianna was invited to study opera in Milan, Italy at the Scuola Musicale di Milano, where she was the only American student, and studied with teachers from La Scala Opera House. From there, it was on to the International Gilbert and Sullivan Festival in the Buxton Opera house in Buxton, England, where she performed in the title role of "Patience" in the Gilbert and Sullivan operetta, and coached with legendary soprano Valerie Masterson in prepartion for reprising her role as Mabel in a concert performance of "Pirates of Penzance." After a brief visit with family in California, she was off to Bangkok, Thailand, then New York City and more singing and performing.

Arianna lives in New York City, can often be seen and heard performing in various local venues, and is available for concerts and theatrical productions.
